Abdoulaye Maïga appointed interim Prime Minister of Mali

Colonel Abdoulaye Maiga, Minister of Regional Administration and Spokesperson for the Malian Government, has been appointed interim Prime Minister by the President of the Transitional Period in Mali, Asimi Gueta, after the illness of Malian Prime Minister Shugel Megah since August 13,

According to a statement read in the official financial channel ORTM, abdoulay maïga was appointed as Prime Minister until Shugel regains his health,

And the Finance Ministry had previously announced in a statement that Shugel had entered into compulsory rest after 14 months of work and would continue his work at the beginning of the week (meaning last week), but he could not continue to work due to the deterioration of his health.
